His Toothless Grin

Yesterday, we caught Aduka's catch-me-if-you-can-smile in his sleep. I don't know why but I am sure I speak for all parents out there, that when you see your baby do even the simplest thing, like smiling in their sleep, it just puts a smile on your faces. It did mine. Everything babies do, we consider it adorable. Whenever adults do what babies do, we either find it irritating, disgusting or just plain creepy. Imagine me smiling in my sleep, CREEEEEPY....worst, his Daddy likes to imitate spaceboy's leg lifting and kicking action, accompanied by horrendous adult cooing....ETERNAL CREEEEEPINESS....

Now here's one of the songs we sing for our baby...
"Hush, little baby, don't say a word,
Papa's gonna buy you a mockingbird.
And if that mockingbird won't sing,
Mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring.
And if that diamond ring turns to brass,
Papa's gonna buy you a looking glass.
And if that looking glass gets broke,
Mama's gonna buy you a billy goat.
And if that billy goat won't pull,
Papa's gonna buy you a cart and bull.
And if that cart and bull turn over,
Mama's gonna buy you a cat named Chomot.
And if that cat named Chomot won't meow.
Papa's gonna buy you a horse and cart.
And if that horse and cart fall down,
You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town."
